How A Mentorship With Me Works

I offer 2 programs:

2 month 1-on-1 mentorship where we design a cast of characters together as if we were working on an actual TV show. You are my Character Designer and I am your Art Director. In addition we also build a sketchbook portfolio project (like the one that got me hired at Warner Brothers) then I teach you how to network and find opportunity. By the end of the mentorship you will have a refurbished portfolio suitable for a professional and the marketing/networking skills necessary to seek work and compete in this modern market.
Full year 1-on-1 mentorship where we will doing all the same things as described above but we will work on 2 separate projects both targeting different needs in the market to widen your range and versatility to find you work faster. Together we will work on your networking efforts throughout the year, leverage my private network and completely transform your portfolio. The extra time allows us to slow down, dive deep into the research of our projects and craft a portfolio that will become a priceless asset to you for many years to come.

2 month program is $1000

Full year is $3000

$1000 for the 2 month program and $3000 for the full year. Upfront payment in full is not required to start. Payment plans can be arranged if needed.

Of course! I am always available for questions, letters of recommendation etc. Ending a mentorship does not end our relationship.
In addition, when you join my mentorship program, you gain lifetime access to my personal Discord community and our weekly Sketch Club calls!
This is not a “rush you through a program” kinda thing. This is a highly planned and polished mentorship where I care about the artists I work with and the relationships we build. Together we are building the future of animation.
Yes! This mentorship is all 1-on-1 so we meet when it works best for you. I work with a lot of students that are still in school and am able to work around any schedule.
In short, yes. BUT I run this mentorship around my other full time responsibilities. I can’t always guarantee a spot will be open. I would recommend reaching out now so we can plan together and find a date that we can put on my calendar.
Outside of school (BYUI) and many online courses, I also paid for 1-on-1 mentorship. I studied with Carlos Grangel, Wayne Carlisi and Jim Smith.
