What is Sketch Club?

Sketch Club is an online art community built and managed by artist Caleb Staker. There are two key aspects to Sketch Club.

1. we have our private discord server of over 200 members. This is where we share artwork, give feedback, network and share job opportunities.

2. We have weekly live Sketch Clubs calls. On Monday mornings at 9am PST or Friday afternoons at 4pm PST we meet and draw themed reference that I have collected for that week. Each month we also invite a guest artist from the animation industry to draw with us and share their knowledge is our small and private group setting. Join Sketch Club today!

Benefits of joining Sketch Club

There are many benefits to joining Sketch Club giving its members an advantage in their careers and creative growth.

  1. Networking opportunities. Last year we had 25 members find work as a direct result of being a member of the Sketch Club community. There is a strong mix of professionals of all kinds in the community and we all strive to help community members.

  2. Feedback. It’s always valuable to get extra eyes on your creative projects. Or community is a place you can share work at any time and get meaningful feedback to improve the quality of your work.

  3. Practice. As an artist we are always trying to improve. Having a weekly Sketch Club is a fun way to make yourself draw more. You don’t have to search or think about what to draw. Show up it professionally curated reference designed to help you improve.

  4. Community. This is a big one for most members. Having a place where you are apart of something makes all the difference. Each member is like apart of our little family. We welcome you with open arms!
